Key Issues

I believe to improve outcomes for residents, we’ll need to embrace new ideas.

For many Burlingtonians, it feels like we’re being left behind while governments focus on the wrong problems. My goal with this campaign is to show we can elect a representative who will work for all of us while changing the direction of our city for the better. Below are just some of my ideas for getting us started:

What I’ve Heard From You:

  • More direct enforcement of speed limits and illegal parking along Mountainside Dr and other thoroughfares.

  • More tree canopy coverage along Driftwood Dr/Autumn Hill area.

  • Noise barriers along Highway 407.

  • Fixing city website access problems, improving search functions for recreation programs, and more open data.

  • Upgrading mulch and turf at the smaller parkettes throughout the community.

  • More city support for dealing with invasive plant species (Tree of Heaven, knotweed, etc.).

  • Dealing with the downtown Burlington traffic disaster.

  • Look into the installation of close-by public toilets at baseball diamonds and other outdoor sports areas.

Updating as my doorknocking continues!
